I have my Mac Mini and since it's pretty silent I can leave it on at all times... I am wanting to fold with it. What software do I need and what do I need to do? I don't see many setup guides stickied to the forum...

Thanks

:welcome: to the team, and to our forum. :)

You may download the folding program ("the client") from Stanford:
http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Download

Instructions for the installer (recommended version), and console version are here:
http://folding.stanford.edu/English/FAQ-SMP

as well as being linked on the download page.

The SMP program is preferred for both the science and the points values it offers, at this time.

If you'd like to participate in some fun competition, then read up on "The Great Chimp Challenge", and use T32monkeys and 32 as your folding setup name and team number.

Otherwise, use the name of your choice, and team 32, of course. :D

Anything else, don't hesitate to ask. Talking FAH is our pleasure, and maybe our addiction, but that's another story. :p :p

Yeah, I fold with my MacBook Pro, there's a great SMP client just for macs... it's much EASIER to install than the others in my opinion... works like a champ!
