saving a folder to RAM for frequent access

hi, is there an XP/2000 tweak or software that will force windows to store a folder to RAM (for frequent access) during start up and save it back to harddisk before shutting down? I used to use a small program (a four letter combination of VRMD but forget the sequence) in 98.

RAMDiskNT is about the only one I know of that works well. It isn't free, however.

You can do a search for it for download or check Download.com (www.download.com) for it...I believe they have it.

Does everything you are looking for...I used it for SETI for a while.
