I've seen a few of these, notably from swiftech, and I was wondering if they were any good. If they seemed to be worth the money+easy enough to work with I might get one, but installing a whole TEC system for my CPU seemed like a little too much work that I was willing to go with now.

If ur willing to pay the $$ for them and are willing to take the risks that inherantly come with TECs the go for it.

Well they do allow you to get below room temperature :) But they do use a lot of power and make a ton of heat. Also if you forget to turn something on (like the pump and leave the TEC on) then you could end up melting your CPU.

Better off with phase in the long run, less power consumption, less hassle, and more consolidated with less risk.
