I was going through some of the work units, and stumbled upon this in the stderr file:

<core_client_version>5.10.45</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<stderr_txt>
Windows optimized S@H Enhanced application by Alex Kan
Version info: SSSE3x (Intel, Core 2-optimized v8-nographics) V5.13 by Alex Kan
SSSE3x Win32 Build 41 , Ported by : Jason G, Raistmer, JDWhale

CPUID: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz
Speed: 2 x 2300 MHz
Cache: L1=64K L2=4096K
Features: MMX SSE SSE2 SSE3 SSSE3

How can my T7300 be overlocked? I know the speedstep technology downsteps as so....

Any of you have a clue or is this a bug with the new version?

Have you verified with cpu-z that your cpu isn't at 2300MHz?

Yes... and a T7300 is a 2.00GHz CPU

Must be a bug that's causing it to detect frequency of 2300 I guess

There's got to be a bug in there somewhere.

I've got MHz reports on the Phenom ranging from 2240 - 3380 (in the same 24-hours) and it's been rock-steady at 3000 for well over a week now! Yes, all the BS throttling is turned off ...

I'll be really curious to see what that Phenom settles down on RAC with at 3 GHz, QuietIce. Hopefully it will be in the same ballpark at least as a Q6600 at the same clock speed.

Just went through his results. It looks like it will be ~4300 RAC a day.

That sounds about on par with a Q6600 then, running at the same clock speed. When I had my Q6600 in my P5WDH board I used to run it at around 3050 and it was averaging around 3600 on RAC, IIRC. It jumped way up there when I put it in the DS3L board it's presently in and was averaging 4000+ RAC with the 2.4 apps at 3510. After adding the v8 apps it was around 5100 RAC before I put it over for the chimp challenge contest.

I hope to have the Q running this evening but I'm making it a banana eater for awhile, too. :)

When that's over they'll be running side-by-side and I may just down-clock the Q for a direct comparison ...
