So my parents wanted a Wii, and I finally found one for them and bought it (the last one the store had). The fam and I were playing it last night, I played one game of boxing, and now I've been awake for at least the last hour with very sharp pains in my left elbow.
This was my first time ever playing the Wii. How long can I expect these "wii elbow" pains to last? I'd like to get some sleep but I just can't, and I've got no pain killers! :bang head

cut your arm off.
Just run it in cold water and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
That happens to everybody the first time. It's from performing that particular motion with no actual resistance, so you body has no real queue as to when to release, or something like that.
There's been actual medical studies using MRI technology (http://www.destructoid.com/wiiitis-backed-by-mri-but-we-still-think-it-s-avoidable-79610.phtml) about this condition.

Haha, now I feel like a real fool for injuring myself. Especially since none of my family members injured themselves and some of them played the boxing for much longer then I did.
Just had normal soreness after going 30 minutes straight on the bag with real punches.
Elbows never hurt, haven't heard of this.
