I think a lot more details would be needed before we can help you...If you could post all of your system specs, and also could you explain what you mean about fixing your PS/2 slots...
We'll try to help.

I think he posted before, where he could not use his keybrd, and he had to use a USB mouse, or something like that.

yah, Well a trace line was fried, fixed it with a thin peace of speeker wire. booted up, saw the keyboard and mouse. now my hard drive is acting up, something about windows protection error,I need to restart, blah blah blah. but whats odd, when I blew up my PS\2 ports I took my whole computer appart, and put it in boxs full of that popcorn foam. Vid and sound card in antistatic bags, and my hard drive alone in the boxs. now I fix the trace, and hook every thing back up, I cant start windows. now My proccessor the middle silverish thing, i think Its called the Proccessor DIE, or something. Is kinda chiped in the corner, not huge, REALLY smallb but noticable(HSF install problem), but every thing boots up fine, BIOS comes up, every thing is being seen, DVD, CD burner. Hard Drive. My HSF is the globalwin something, with the black Delta fan( it SCreams) 1.4Ghz not over clocked, every thing "stock" 256 DDR, and Geforce 2 GTS, and a crap sound card.

no clue...i think your troubles would be easily fixed by a new mobo, or a new hdd.....you can get both for less than $200..worse things will happen...trust me

Try a reinstall of windows. That would be a good place to start. The chipped core might be an issue, but since it boots up, I doubt it.
