It looks amazing and the weapons like the Lancer have been changed seems faster at firing I love the hold bodies up for cover and can break there kneck.

So 3 HD Vids with Campaign footage of GOW2 Enjoy!!!!

holy **** that game looks amazing

1 - futuristic setting / futuristic vehicles / wpns - Like believable futuristic setting, modern warfare isn't much behind what we saw in the preview - love it

2 - fast pacing - i love fast paced fps (as opposed to tactical ones like counterstrike). I just like moving and shooting as opposed to barely moving at all and focusing all on aiming / mouse sensitivity. I also noticed they put in a crouch system like time crysis. Plus when he takes the guy hostage and uses the enemies wpn then breaks his neck, money.

3 - I grew up playing RTS's and this game looks like command and conquer in FPS form (ownage!)

4 - Impressive physics engine

5 - Large scale that gives you that 'epic' feeling. This is probably my favorite aspect of the preview. I like MMO's a lot as well and taking down machines / bosses that are 100x bigger than you makes the experience much more fun to me. Or mowing down 50 guys at a time :)

I'm so glad I have a 360. I love my PS3 but I still hold on to my 360 for awesome exclusive games like this.

Gears of War is 100% 360 only, like Halo. This is the only game in xbox series, that makes me feel like buying the xbox.

I could care less if they release on the PC. It's totally ridiculous that after they release on the PC, you still have to pay for LIVE in order to play online for the PC version.

Gears of War is 100% 360 only, like Halo. This is the only game in xbox series, that makes me feel like buying the xbox.

I could care less if they release on the PC. It's totally ridiculous that after they release on the PC, you still have to pay for LIVE in order to play online for the PC version.

I care if they release it on PC... like Gears and Halo.

I didn't like the first Gears much, maybe this will be better.

Don't know if I'll be getting it. I might sell my 360 by then. But I'm trying to hold on to it in hopes of getting a Fable 2 date.

I didn't like the first Gears of War too much, so I'm not sure if I'll be getting this one.

hi, i have this game for the PC and i have not played the multiplayer part of it yet... i thought the only difference between the free Live Silver and the Gold is the Silver can only play against other PC users while the Gold can play PC's against 360's...?

No you can't play against 360 players. I don't know if you can play it online with silver because I already have an xbox live account so I just used that.

Anyone else here that just cannot play FPS's on a console controller, I really need a keyboard and mouse, but that's just me I guess.

Gears of War is hardly an FPS, and it actually plays quite nice on the 360. I'd have a hard time playing this game with anything except for a gamepad.

I'd be impressed if it DID make it this year. It's May now, and this is the first gameplay video we've seen. And I'm not sure there's an "official" release date yet.

But, like I said elsewhere, neither console has ANYTHING lined up for christmas. So it would be nice if this was Microsoft's Christmas game.

Once they figure out what they're going to do about their whole hard drive/blu ray situation I might just pick up another 360.

I don't see why GOW2 won't drop this year....

November 08 will make it exactly 2 years since the orignal title, and they're basically using the same engine sans a few tweaks here and there. Chances are that many of the improvements in the sequel are things they simply could not do by the 11/06 timeline.

Well information on Gears 2 is JUST starting to circulate. That worries me because EVERY major game released since 2007 has been delayed. (And the one that wasn't, Kand and Lynch, SHOULD'VE been delayed.) I mean every single game GTA IV, Bioshock, COD4, MGS4, Haze, Killzone 2, Alan Wake, etc, etc, etc... they have ALL been delayed. Not a single one wasn't.

So you talk about a game as big as Gears... and surely it's right up there with the above... and we're JUST getting our first glimpse of the game in May and we're JUST getting our first planned release date.

That's what makes me think it could be delayed: History once again. And delays seem to be all the rage recently.

I personally hope it comes out on time: I'd be buying it, just like I bought the first one, before I even had a system to play it on. Then I would go to vegas in december, win another 400 bucks, and buy another 360.
