After many years, it is high time for me to retire my ancient Maestro 1032 PDA. Its battery just won't hold charge for more than 30 minutes and rather than to get a replacement battery, I've decided to get something newer.

I used the PDA mostly for ebooks and reading fanfictions on internet as well as occasional games.

I liked the PDA because it fits my pocket and much easier to carry around than a laptop. But it has small screen, most PDA has hard to replace battery, and keyboard isn't much fun (on screen 1 finger typing is slow as heck).

Laptop has bigger screen, can play some older games that won't work on my main PC, easy to replace batteries, and easier to use keyboard. But they can be heavy and not quite as portable as PDA.

I'm looking at something about $100 shipped (roughly $75 to $80 on eBay + shipping) Requirement: CD-ROM, 32-bit PC card for wireless card or onboard 802.11b/g support, and light w/o battery. Probably minimum 64MB RAM for 98 or 512MB for XP (or has empty RAM slot for upgrade).

Suggestion as to what used laptop model I should look for (or avoid)?
