I saw a previous post with saying mushkin high performance pc2100 ddr was the way to go but at the same time it wasnt. Someone please help me out.
What motherboard are you going to use?
What cpu?
Will the cpu be unlocked?
What is more important to you, price or performance?

i'm planning to upgrade to an msi k7t266 and buliding a soltec sl75drv2 from scratch. I wanna see which one performs better before i start overclocking. the msi will have an athlon 1.0 and the solted an xp 1600. What kind of ddr do you recomend?
The soltec has 2.8v max ddr voltage.
Crucial 2100 if you don't unlock the cpu or keep the fsb under 160.
With a 1/4 divider going over 160mhz may be hazardous to your components.
Kingmax 2700(5ns) if you think you might want to go over 160mhz
provided the price is $10 or less than the crucial.
Corsair 2700 if you don't care about price and want to try for 200mhz.
