At my house vista pointblank refuses to connect to my router. I tried a hella lots of things, and it still refuses. Thus there is no vista PCs in this house 'nymore. It just gave me a "Ping: error 1231 or 1232).

yup norton 360 was installed but i disabled it along with windows firewall and bit defender. well after hours of messing around i decided to install firefox and found out that firefox works and internet explorer does not!!! this is lame!! window messenger live does not work too but i believe it is related to internet explorer somehow?
Uninstall the craptacular program known as Norton 360. Its even worse than Norton Internet Security for blowing up. Also why was there 2 antivirus programs installed?

I have had one vista computer, that wasn't even vista compatible, THERE WAS NO DRIVERS, BUT THE OEM RELEASED THE SYSTEM WITH VISTA?!?!
And then another vista laptop, Which was shameless, It would never connect properly, it was such a major PITA.
I think XP-Vista communication isn't something microsoft focused on, unfortunately.

Any program that incrediblely difficult to uninstall is never worth the effort to install in the first place.
Seriously, if Norton's detection rate was as high as the system resources it requires, it would be at the top of the charts.
lol that pretty much sums it up
