This is a mod I did a while back. I took a cheap 10/100 8-port switch that did not use a power brick. I took it apart and removed the AC power cord. I then took a dead PSU AC plug and put in in the case. On the inside I soldered a pig-tail from the old PSU plug to the switch. I then soldered another pig-tail to my actual PSU. This allows me to use one AC plug to power both.

^^The plug that is slightly higher and on the right hand side is the main plug. The plug on the left comes out from inside the case to the PSU. I can unplug it and plug the main power directly into the PSU if I don't need/want the switch.

^^This is the inside of the case. The switch is directly below the PSU. This PSU has a 120mm fan underneith thus it acts to cool the switch too. This is not a requirement but an added bonus. Slightly above the PSU is the main power plug with the two pig-tails soldered to it.
I've made other mods to this case too. Added more 120 mm fans ports, added front USB, etc.

^^The empty spot where the floppy(s) should be are now a BTX style air duct. The top is channeled by the 5.25 cage and the bottom is channeled by my main HDD. This creates direct flow of air (slightly heated by the HDD) to the CPU HSF. I have a giant scyth HSF (ninja I think) with a low noise 120mm. This machine is very quite and is still running a fair OC.
