Announcement trailer, nothing special really. But I am excited for this, albeit not surprised at all. skate has been the 360 game that I have played the most, I even take breaks from GTA4 to play it! I know crazy right!? Anyway figured someone here might care...
Looks like a Halo killer to me.

Skate is one of the main games that keeps me thinking about picking up a next gen. Looks like I'll have even more reason to do so now.

Seriously though I own Halo 3, GTA 4, and a bunch of other new games but I keep on playing Skate, can't get enough of it. I have everything unlocked and all the achievements but I still play it. I've only played like 15 minutes of GTA4 but I still toss in Skate and go play on Live.
I'm going to buy Skate 2 opening day.

I do hope they allow you to get off your board though, sure does get aggravating when you attempt to jump a stair set and you mess up and have to ride down the stairs. Other than that I don't know how they could make it better...maybe a few new tricks or something.
Yeah I am curious how they will make it better, maybe getting off the board, I can see that as a possibility, I know that crossed my mind while playing.
Maybe some new innovative multiplayer modes...
I haven't played this game yet. Seems like a fun alternative to Tony Hawk, which makes it look like NFL Blitz compared to say Madden 2008.
THPS has gone downhill since 3. 1,2,3 were incredible, but the rest sucked.

Project 8 isn't that bad, just different.. Not as arcadey with the point-gathering stuff. My brother loves it, and he hates video games. He thinks the first 3 stink.
