I have an,
EVGA GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB

Could I add this card?
BFG Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX 768MB OC

I can get a good deal on it, but I am not sure what consequences exist with running differing manufacturers cards in SLI, and the fact that the BFG is OC'd.

Would going from an Intel E6600 to the Intel Q6700 make a noticeable difference?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Yes you can use that second card. The cards will just run at the slowest cards speed..

Yeah, it'll work just fine. As for the CPUs, are you running them OCed or what? At stock speeds, the Q6700 would be a hair faster due to the extra 266mhz, but nothing you'd really notice. The extra cores wouldn't really help for gaming. Higher-clocked dual cores are faster in every gaming bench I've seen at this point.. If you have ~$250 to drop on a new CPU, grab an E8500, or wait a few months and snag an E8600 for the same price :p

No I am not overclocking them, yet:) Tried it once but didn't have the best results.

Games may not be utilizing Quad Core technology now, but won't they in the near future, maybe I should consider the Q9450.

Any thoughts, thanks.

If you aren't OCing, go for the E8400. At stock, it'll spank the Q's in gaming. People keep saying 'well quads are future proof!' Piffle. By the time games need 4 cores, we're going to have much better processor options available, and today, dual cores are faster because of their tendencies towards higher clock speeds..
