What size hole saw would I need if I wanted to mount 2 - 80mm case fans on the side of my case?

The USA should have switched to metric years ago. The old farts that protested the last time are dead or should be. This would elimate so many little problems like this.
1 inch=2.54 cm

Ya but this metric stuff still confuses me

If I remember right there is 10mm in one cm.

yes, centi = 1/100, milli = 1/1000, metric is good like that :)
Personally I almost always use millimetres.

It is much simpler than the system we are using now. Every thing is in multiples of 10.
How many TBSP are in a pint? Some strange number that has no bearing on the rest of the world.
How many milliliters are in a liter? 100.

Actually, last time I checked, there are 1000 (1-thousand!) milliliters in one liter.
Hey, I'm currently taking AP Chemistry! Should be known as "math with lots of conversions, and elements."

TBSP is 15ml, US pint is 454ml, Real pint is 568ml. So 30.27 and 37.87 respectively. :)

I like the fact that with the metric system, you can make your own units of measurement.
Don't like milliliters? Liters are just too big? Why not centiliters? Or, if you absolutely must use a prefix that will confuse people, try deciliters. Or maybe femtoliters, or myrialiters.
Quick! How many cubic decimeters in a myrialiter, and how much would that weigh in gigagrams?
I've used mainly metric for years now.
And I prefer me pints with a good head on 'em

Okay, I found a brand new 3 1/4 inch hole saw in my garage. Will that work, or is it too big?

I used a 3" one to do mine and it work. Would've been better if I would've drilled the screw holes in right. So I think 3 1/4" might be alittle big but should work it don't have to be perfect.

Well, which would be better, 3 inch or 3 1/4 inch?

But isn't 3.25 inches closer to 80mm than 3 inches?
