why is there such a big price difference?

Corsair is expensive like mushkin is compared to other brands.
Even the corsair 2400xms is $100.

Someone I know is testing the corsair 2700 as I type this and then I can post back if you want when he finishes how it does compared to the kingmax 2700.
 
someone said that corsair tends to handle overvolting better. I'm curious to see the comparison with the Kingmax.
 
Test's were both done on Iwill xp-333-r rev 2.1.
Both memory set to 2.8v (the max for the board).
3dmark 2001 was run twice with setting's to test stability.

Corsair 2700xms-Max speed cas 2=170mhz.


Kingmax 2700 with the 5ns chips-Max speed cas 2=175mhz.
