Hey all-
Someone PLEASE help me. Here's my problem:
Found an old system with win95. Don't have the 95 cd anymore. DO have a winME cd (full version). Want to install winME on hdd (for reasons which will take to long to explain). When I put ME cd in i get error message saying i already have an os installed, and that i need the "upgrade" cd of ME instead of the "full" version that i possess. My question is-- is there a way to wipe my hdd and clean install winME even though i dont have the win95 disc to create a start up disk? (when i try to make a start up disk it tells me to insert the win95 cd which i dont have) Does it even make a difference? Do i sound ignorant enough yet? I would appreciate any help to get out of my predicament.
THANKS!!
