Do I want the fan on my heatsink blowing onto the heatsink or pulling air away from it? I really couldn't tell on my old heatsink and I just got a Thermalright SK-6 with a Delta 60mm 50 cfm fan. Thx...

The side on the fan with the sticker should be facing hsf(down). Hence the spining side is on top.

Yup that's how I have it. It seems like it is blowing towards me. Can't tell though this thing puts out so much air. :D And damn is it noisy. I never thought it would be as noisy as it is. Good thing I usually wear headphones when on my comp.

I am thinking about adding some fans to my volcano 7 to take the air away after it comes off the fins. See, air vents from the heatsink downwards toward the video card and upwards toward the top of the case. I wanna cut a blow-hole in the top, and mount small fans on the sides of my v7, then duct the heatsink's exhaust to the blowhole.
One of my favorite air cooled setups is with the Alpha 8045 with the fan sucking air away from the sink. A duct in the side of the case to the HSF expells the hot air right out of the case and away from all the other components.
