Good monitors?

Hey I just blew my savings account (supposed to have been for college or down payment for car or house in a couple of years) on a new rig but I don't have a monitor. My GeForce3 Ti200 has video out, so I can use the TV in my room for the time being; can you guys recommend any good monitors I can afford with my income? (Income meaning allowance, b-day and christmas money, maybe part-time job after February)

My Uncle was on a REALLY tight budget last month and got a 17 inch monitor for $150 from Walmart... Pretty descent monitor IMO.

I've got a 19" viewsonic, it basically the highest end CRT model you can get (GS790) so it's not terribly cheap but it's a great monitor

about $375us nowadays, cost me more cause I got it over a year ago
