Wow! The new UI tools rock. Check it out. I've never had it look this nice, yet it's still minimalistic. I was running columns ui plus a formatting string which worked fine, but now it works out of the box!
On a related note: I usually keep all my music in one large 36k song play list, but I just started using the library function. It rocks! I love the ability to quickly find albums and genres. Foobar just keeps impressing me with its power and its ability to handle large play lists with ease.

I have always had high thoughts of Foobar, even since the early days.... lightweight, minimalistic, and in the later versions.... easy to customize. I only wish they could match the DSP of Winamp and they would be gold!
EDIT: Just tried it out, your right this is a big improvement. I really like the new UI.

Hm, I'll have to give this a try. My biggest gripe with Foobar in the past was that it took too long to customize it the way I wanted. Yeah I'm lazy ;)

My wife even likes foobar better than Winamp now.
Maybe it's because Winamp has been locking up the PC (reset button bad) when she plays her simple games like Mahjongg Titans, Bejeweled, Chuzzle, etc.
I don't know if it's Winamp or Vista but I hope it goes away after I do a fresh Ultimate x64 install.
