I see these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231145) recommended all the time around here. I plan on ordering up an E8400 very soon, and were looking at those sticks (I currently have these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145034). Is it worth it to upgrade? Sell the XMS2's and buy the G.Skills? Right now it will be on a P5K-SE, but an IP35-Pro is on the way soon as well. So buy the G.Skills? Just use my Corsair? I want to hit 4gb, cooling isn't a problem.

Worth it imo, but that's just me. If you can afford it, go for it ;)

Believe it or not, i went from that exact corsair ram to the g.skill. It was a great choice, especially for overclocking.

Ya, I love those sticks. I'm running mine at 768 4-4-4-10 because my multi is locked in both directions.

So what's the difference between those sticks and these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231174) sticks? I can't see any difference besides the heat spreader.

I'm a big fan of going with 800mhz stuff rated for 4-4-4-12. I've never seen ones that won't do 1000 @ 5-5-5-15, and you pay a bit less. These http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145194 would probably clock just as high as those G.Skills would.
With an E8400, you'd be at 3.6ghz before the memory even runs at rated speeds, and that's with 4-4-4-12 timings. Even if they only clock up to 850 with those timings, you're looking at 3.825ghz on the processor. Even at 4ghz, you are only running the memory at 888mhz which should be easy, especially if you loosen the timings to what the 1000mhz stuff is rated at..
DDR2-1000 wouldn't even be running rated speeds at 1:1 until you hit 4.5ghz :p

Before I drop $95 on these... How well do these things multiply?
Before I drop $95 on these... How well do these things multiply?Multiply? I don't think RAM sticks reproduce :p
