I just received a new BFG 8800GTXOC2 with the idea of completing my first SLI setup. The problem is when I booted it up the first time, the BFG VGA Bios displayed on my monitor but in windows device manager says "The device cannot be started (Code 43)". When I installed the card in the main PCIe slot by itself i get no video.
I requested an RMA through BFG but I have to jump through hoops for it since I'm overseas. I'm wondering if there is a way to re-flash it with the original OC2 bios by booting with NVFlash with my working 8800GTX installed and the malfunctioning BFG in the secondary slot.
Can you select which card you want to flash in NVFlash? If I have to jump through hoops for this RMA I want to exhaust all my options first.
Edit: Figured it out. No love though, card still borked. Sigh...
