You want to access computer A from computer B and vice versa?
I'll explain assuming that you haven't done anything yet as far as software goes and that you've got the comps connected to your router.
Open the network settings (in control panel) and click the add button. Add TCP/IP and NetBEUI (protocols) and Client for MS Fam. Netoworks and MS Family Logon (clients). Click on the File and Printer sharing and pick what you want (since you're behind a router you'll be OK sharing files).
Open the TCP/IP properties and select the follwing settings from under the following tabs;
IP address - obtain automatically
WINS resolution - disable
gateway - nothing
DNS config - disable
bindings - client for MS networks and File/printer sharing
no other changes
In the network config window, click on the identification tab and pick a comp name, workgroup and a describtion (if you want). The important thing is that you have both comps have the same workgroup.
Do that on both computers, and you should be able to see eachother. Follow your router's instructions to connect to the internet.
Hope that helps some.
BTW, all the bindings I mentioned shouldn't be necessary, but I've found that changing them adversely effects my connection.
