How is it possible that I only get 273 ppd? I have a part time Q6700 @ 3.6 running for 32 and a 24/7 E2160 @ 2.8 ghz...something's wrong here...

Are you running the SMP client, or the 5.04 client?

Would this be you?

You've turned in 2 p45xx (84 pointers) Ambers in the last 24 hours, and nothing on 5-31 and 6-01. How part time is the quad? How many instances are you running? Assuming its running 4 Ambers, it should make about 30 points per hour. C2Ds and C2Qs probably should be configured to avoid Ambers, which do not use SSE. One of the primary improvements in the C2D/Qs is the ability to process 2 SSE instructions per clock cycle (twice the capability of the benchmark P4), so running a WU, even a bonus WU, that doen't take advantage of this improved performance is going to give relatively poor performance. Configure for Big WU with advanced methods off.

Yeah, thats me. The quad runs all afternoon when I am back from school and sometimes 24/7. I turn it on at 2:40 pm and shut it off around 10:40 pm. Still a good 6 hours right there though...running 1 instance of the client per pc. Should I run more?

If you're running 5.03, you can only run one instance per machine and your production is about right.
