RMA question with Athlon Xp Processors

I just a quit question, do you know if there are problems with XP's RMA? I ask this because time ago I fried a normal Athlon and the provider didn`t replace it, is the same with XP cpus?

it depends on where you bought it...

If you bought OEM then the warranty is limited to what the reseller grants you...In my case, 7 days...

Physical damaged CPUS will not be replaced by AMD - there was a notice in my local computer store. If you don't fit your HSF properly and break the die then there is no replacement. Any sign of physical damage and you have no chance.
