coolbits won't work

hey all. I installed the newest nVidia drivers for my GeForce 2 GTS and the Coolbits hack disapeared. I've tried uninstalling the new drivers and reinstalling the original ones...re-hacking the registry to no avail...the registry entries are there but the hardware options tab doesn't appear. Has anyone else had this prob? Is there a fix or should I just do a clean install of everything?

If you're willing to have another small app running, NVMax (http://www.voodoofiles.com/2597) is a cool little proggie that has a bunch of options and will automatically enable the correct coolbits reg hack. It also has its own tab for gpu and memory clock settings.

PowerStrip (http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm) is another alternative.

I'm all for formatting every so often. Nothing like a little "Spring Cleaning" if you have changed drivers numerous times.
