Converting a PSU to use seperately from mobo:

I want to be able to test cooling setups before they go into the case etc, what do I need to do to it to get it to run fans without actually being hooked up to the motherboard? Not sure exactly which psu i'll be using, probably be an old antec 450W ATX I have laying around.
Honestly I didnt search for the answer first, I have limited time online right now so if someone can point me to an article or whatever, I'd greatly appreciate it.

All you need to do is jumper the black and green wires on the 24pin atx cable.

To be a little more specific...the green wire is pin #14, and it can be grounded to any black ground wire.
