Okay, so I got my clocks as high as I could and wanted to see how much it could do with a little bit more juice running to it. I upped the voltage to 1.1v through nibitor and it seems that it will not go any higher than what it did without the bios mod.

Here is my nibitor settings that are on the card as we type.

Is there anyone who knows why the card wont go up not even 5mhz on anything with an artifact within 20s in atitool? My temps are low when it artifacts so it isn't the temps that are holding me back. I dont know, what do you guys think?

Also, does anyone know how to change the fan speed through nibitor? Cause then I wouldnt need precision running in the background at all lol.

Thanks in advance.

You only need to change 'Extra'. I'm not sure if changing the other one's would screw anything up or not...not sure why your not getting better results. Maybe the card was already set to 1.1v...some cards are.

you also realize that nibitor only can read the bios on the card and edit it within windows. for the modded bios to be effective you must flash the card with nvflash.

hit up www.mvktech.net for guides.

ALSO i would STRONGLY recommend that you do NOT set your max clocks on your modded bios just leave the clocks stock in the bios and overclock within windows, this will illeviate any probs if your max clock was to come down for what ever reason.

Still not able to bump any higher. I flashed the bios to this:

And this is the volts that were changed also (I re-flashed it after thinking that I messed it up):

Also the fan speed thing I figured that out lol. Is there a way to tell what the card originally had as a volt setting? When I loaded the original bios in, it was all blank in the volt fields of NiBitor.

Your clocks look like you have already applied the 1.1v mod. That's the max I got on a few different GT's.

You could always change the setting to 1.05v and see if your max drops. Then you'll know if it was 1.1v initially.

Well, this is what I finally got stable and running under 68c at load. I didn't think they shipped cards at 1.1v out of the box. I guess I got one of those if that's the case.

My BFG 8800GThad 1.1v default - I tried the flash same as you and it didn't do squat. But the card OC'd really well in the first place which is consistent with the higher default core voltage.
