I need to get a router now (as in, within the next week) and this looks like the best deal out there. It seems like it gets decent reviews on the interweb, and you can't beat the price. So, is it worth getting?

This is supported by DD-WRT. :) Also, Tech4Less has it for $43.41 with free shipping, which beat's Woot's $44.99 w/ shipping. Also, the Tech4Less one is an open box, so it has the original warranty (one year?), vs Woot's refurb 90 day warranty. http://www.techforless.com/cgi-bin/tech4less/WNR834B100NAS?mv_pc=google_base

Tough call. How much do compatible network adaptors cost? Or have you already got them? I'm pretty happy with my 802.11 super-g, but I got that maybe a year ago now, so I don't know what good prices are on this kind of thing.

How much do compatible network adaptors cost? Most, if not all of the 'N' standard (remember, not official standard, but almost) are backwards compatible to 802.11B and G. It should work with any card or adapter that worked with a 'G' router. My point - if you've already got G components, you can keep using them without performance degradation and just upgrade to N as you see fit.

I had this model for a few days and it's a POS. I ended up with a Linksys WRT300N
