Hey.

Im building my first ever on pc. I have this hard drive http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(36458)Seagate-320GB-Barracuda-SATA-300-Hard-Disk.aspx ... It comes with no cables to connect to anything it just comes as a hard drive.

So i was wondering what cables do i need and where can i get them. :)

Please reply soon.

If you are getting a new motherboard, it'll come with a few SATA cables.

Hey.

I didn't realise but i think the cables that come with my motherboard are the right ones i have

2 x Serial ATA cable
1 x Serial ATA power adapter

Does that power my hdd? and plug into my mobo?

I got the same seagate hdd oem from ocuk (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-154-SE&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=768&name=Seagate%20Barracuda%207200.11%20320GB%20SATA-II%2016MB%20Cache%20-%20OEM%20(ST3320613AS)) and mine was shipped in an anti-static bag with one sata cable, I think it should be the same from md
