I'm finally going to get a geforce3 ti200. What I'm wondering is which of these two cards is the best one? I want to get a card with tv/out. I know the gainward has tv/out but I'm not sure about the visiontek.

Also I would like to know about overclocking the cards. I'm running a PIII 733mhz and I don't overclock it. I have read in these forums that you can overclock the ti200 to acheive what the ti500 puts out. Can you overclock the 3d card without overclocking your entire system? Do I need some special cooling to overclock it? Im not going to watercool so if there is another way to cool the card please let me know. I would appreciate any advise some of you with experience in this can provide.

thanks:confused:

for overclocking the its suggested that you put a bigger heatsink on your video card, and the gainward is probably better....the video card can be oced seperately from the system...also seeing as your cpu is a PIII the CPU will be the bottleneck and it would make more sense to oc that.....

u kud take out the stock fan and apply thermal paste then put it back again then add an 80mm blowing across the card. that should do it. if u really care about ur warranty, forget about removing the fan and applying thermal paste ur best bet wud be to hang an 80 or 120mm fan to blow across the card. it helped me oc well. btw, we have the same machine. with a card like gf3, our cpu with be the bottleneck. good luck
