I've been cleaning my house of all the useless BS lying around in closets in preperation of moving sometime this fall.

And I found 2 3.5" Disks, Qmodem 4.52 and Xtalk ( or cross talk ). How nostalgiac. Personally I used Terminate for such calls.

Anyone remember these?

I threw out allot of old stuff just this past March including a 75mgz Pentium PC.
Not to mention some 14.4 external modems, two 166mgz servers (HUGE!), three of the old MS-DOS green screen IBM work stations, several 1 to 2mb PCI VGA cards, some SCSI 4X HP CD writers, and that's just a small list.
I'm in my mid forties and I realized back in March that I had to much crap in my basement.
I either sold or kept most of the decent stuff though.

I preferred Telix, awesome scripting language. 3.15 please, later versions just weren't the same.

I have moved most of my old stuff to an attic :p

In that collection: At least 4 zip disk drives, at least 5 keyboards, a 20" CRT, Slot 1 motherboards, a box of modems, soundcards, etc, couple cases and other misc junk

Sound like you could have a pretty good Sale Thread in the Classifieds.

my dad just cleaned out our old house and he finally got rid of some commodore 64's, 128's, and a commodore pet. actually he gave them to a friend that wanted them. i have no idea what he'd use them for though lol.

He probably sold them for a small mint. Someone here is looking for C64 games BTW.

I have a 14.4 serial modem and a Power Mac G3 still sitting in my trunk. I need to get rid of them, especially with rising gas prices.
