Im going to buy a 8800GTS 512mg Card and was wondering what the best price deal you've seen for the 8800gts? Also what 8800gts card you would suggest?
Setup:
Asus P5E3 Deluxe Wifi
E8400 @ 3.0ghz

My advice, is to wait if you can. The new nvidia/ati cards are coming out this month. If you absolutely cannot wait, get an 8800GT to hold you over.

If you are dead set on getting the GTS, then this card is the lowest that I have found from the egg:

A good card I was thinking of getting 2 of them and 2 Zalman vf1000's.

I'm going to get a GT or a GTS, depending on how the launches turn out. The thing is, no matter how good the new cards are, I'm not going to spend more than $200 on a card, so the only advantage to me waiting is that I get to see how it affects older card prices.

I might not even upgrade to be honest. The only advantage gaming on a PC gives me is keyboard/mouse, Crysis and MMORPG's, and two of those aren't impressing me right now.

I sure do love my Death Adder though.

Get an 8800GT the price difference to GTS isnt worth the money. You can get an 8800GT for around $160. I have seen as low as $140 for EVGA. The gtx280 will be around $650 to start, so it will be out of most anyones price range for awhile. Not sure on the gtx260.
