Anybody know where I can get a schematic for my monitor?
Im going to attempt to paint it, but I want to make sure I take it apart corectly,...dont want to die...hehe

Thanks for the reply....dont laugh....its a gateway, bout the only thing good they make I suppose is a monitor, it was made in 1997 or 98, its the ev700, 17inch crt. I want to paint it to match my computer, but i know takin them apart can be tough.

Im new at this overclocking stuff so please bare with me Choke, snort!, ur ah ok no laughing. I doubt Gateway made those (if I am wrong someone will correct me) They are probably supplied by a standard monitor manufacturer. If there is a tag on it look at that. Gateway is kinda like Compaq. It's their system pretty much but I would think monitor is standard issue. If it doesn't have a tag they got you. However, have you asked Gateway?:beer:

actually the tag just has the damned gateway logo on it and the numbers, i traced the fcc number and it said the monitor was made by mag technology??i emailed them but nothing yet.
Gateway told me to get bent, thats when I told them they suck, and that i have lawnmowers faster than their systems.

well i dont know where to go from here thanks It's probably gonna turn out that you can't get one, only "certified" Gateway techs can get them. Not an uncommon practice. If you take it apart carefully and write down what you do in each step, you should have no trouble reversing the procedure.:beer:
