Someone's been copying Monster Cable idea.
If someone really needs to hear undistorted audio, he shouldn't be listening to any recorded medium but rather listen at the source only, the orchestra, opera, concert, or whatever.

Thanks for the link to the reviews. That's some of the best humor I've seen in a long time. Finally, when we were forced to agree that there was no technology on earth that could make "Hootie and the Blowfish" sound better, we resorted to a complicated marketing strategy called "Let's make it more expensive". And then someone raised their hand, and said,"Let's make it WAY more expensive". And that person is our new Vice President. So we did, and do you know what? Listening to "Hootie and the Blowfish" through our cable actually does make the band sound better now. And do you know why? Because even that is better than saying you wasted $500.00 on a cable.Priceless, simply priceless.

4.0 out of 5 stars It gets me closer to The Lord, June 11, 2008
By G. P. (Phoenix, AZ) - See all my reviews
If I could use a rusty boxcutter to carve a new orifice in my body that's compatible with this link cable, I would already be doing it. I can just imagine the pure musical goodness that would flow through this cable into the wound and fill me completely -- like white, holy light. Holding this cable in my hands actually makes me feel that much closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. I only make $6.25/hr at Jack In The Box, but I saved up for three months so I could have this cable. It sits in a shrine I constructed next to my futon in Mother's basement.
I only gave it four stars in my review because I can't find music that is worthy enough to flow through this utterly perfect interconnect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looking for Freedom Has Never Sounded Better, June 15, 2008
I was drinking a hot cup of Hoffee when this cable finally came in the mail. It is so revolutionary, the when the mailman pressed the doorbell, it shattered all the windows in my home, similar to the sonic boom created by the Olson twins' bizjet flying Lance Armstrong to New York. I delicately placed the sanctified spaghetti string between my 1995 IBM Aptiva Pentium w/MMX technology (makes the media player visualizer so much more intense) computer and my 2.5 watt 7.2 Klipsch speaker setup wired around the doghouse. I have never heard sleep-depriving white noise played so accurately, or with such attitude, continuously. It's almost as if pieces of the ethereal Ethernet cable are being pumped through the speaker cones, as if Klipsch and Denon secretly collaborated to design a speaker/cable setup that actually throws gold particles at my eardrums, and those of my beloved but sleep-deprived puppies. I am almost 100% sure this cable was used in David Hasselhoff's Looking for Freedom concert atop the Berlin Wall, the very same show that ended communism in Europe. While listening to the Hoffenschosh's albums, I noted that Hot Shot City is particulary good.

I don't think they'll be selling any of these cables with those reviews :) Even really dumb people will scroll down to the reviews on a $500 product.

A coworker had recently bragged to me about buying these cables, and when i told him what he was really buying, he was shocked.
He hadn't shown up to work for the last couple days and the boss got in this morning, he said that the guy's wife "found him in the garage, hanging by a noose made of some sort of speaker wires he had just purchased".
R.I.P. - Frank Grimes.
I guess these cables are pretty rugged.

Pro's: I just bought this QX9775 and it's amazing! Totally worth the money because it's WAY faster at surfing the internets and opening word documents than my old 1.4ghz Athlon XP!!
Con's: NONE! Everyone should buy one of these.
Other thought's: 4 cores make's my single threaded applications run so much faster than a single core processor. I saw that there was a difference in GHz but since when has the operating frequency had to do with anything? At least it doesn't interfere with my 2.4ghz wireless router.

I think Monster will probably sue because they came up with the original idea of ripping off the public and now Denon is stealing their concept.
This guy might actually be right...

A caution to people buying these: if you do not follow the "directional markings" on the cables, your music will play backwards. Please check that before mentioning it in your reviews.
I was disappointed. I consider myself an audiophile - I regularly spend over $1000 on cables to get the ultimate sound. I keep my music-listening room in a Faraday cage to prevent any interference that could alter my music-listening experience. Sending any signal down ordinary copper can degrade the signal considerably. While ordinary listeners might not notice, to somebody with even a rudimentary knowledge of sound, the artifacts are glaring. Denon should have used silver wiring (hermetically sealed inside the rubber sheath to prevent any tarnishing, of course), which has a significantly higher conductivity than copper. Furthermore, Denon needs to treat the wires they use in the cable with a polarity inductor to ensure minimal phase variance.
Needless to say, I returned the cable and wrote an angry letter to the so-called engineers at Denon

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Windows Vista Ready, June 17, 2008
By John L. Poole (Belmont, CA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Buyers beware: these cables may not work on Microsoft Windows Vista (Build 1.0.0.3.0.2), and the scuttlebutt on knowledgeable forums is that certification is probably months, if not at least a year away. (They do work on XP, provided you are running on an Intel based motherboard.)
Down-rated for not being compliant with the industry standard: Vista.
$20 says that if they put "vista ready" badges or "SLI certified" sales will increas by 30% lol
