Shims and Unlocking kits ?

I just sent for a non conductive shim for my XP but will I need to take off the rubber stopper things on the corners ?

Also does anyone know anywhere which sells Xp unlocking kits I saw one but it was only for tbirds .

I think it's www.crazypc.com who has tbird unlocking kits for sale with silver epoxy pencils. I'd love to find something like this for my XP:confused:
