View Full Version : HD Tune Results | RAID 0
How do these results look? Unfortantely I can't do a write test because I partitioned the damn thing. I'm possibly thinking of replacing this with 2 x 150 Raptor RAID. Is anyone familiar with the Raptor RAID performance?

This appears to be normal for old generation raptor. I have dual velociraptor raid 0 with areca arc1210 and I get about 197mb/sec average read time with 6.8ms seek and 2.2% cpu usage.
ATTO will test both reads and writes.

Your access time will be lower with the raptors, but everything else will likely be around the same, except for your storage space, which will be much less:beer:

He doesnt have raptors.

I popped in a Velociraptor. I'm using the previous raid drives for external storage and have a couple 150 gb raptors I need to get rid of.
