Hi:beer:
I am doing a few upgrades at the moment and would like a few ideas for a new PSU am thinking of getting a new 4850x2 when they come out or 2 x 4850's or even a top of the line 8800gts just waiting on the reviews to start coming out on the new ATI cards to see which will be best and wondering what PSU would suffice. Have been looking at lots of reviews and ended up getting more confused, :bang head
Thanks

I've been using seasonics so far and I'm really pleased with them. Corsairs are also nice PSUs.

Just Bought the Corsair HX620W PSU looks awesome  This review is what sold me http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/371 as pointed out here. They are one of the places you should trust when it comes to PSU and other reviews.
This comment really sold me and the best of all: we could extract up to 746 W from it. So you will be basically paying for a 620 W product and bringing home a 740 W power supply A lot of PSU'S say they have say 750W Power output but struggle to deliver 600W-650W :screwy: A bit like Hard drive manufacturers who claim to have 500 GB capacity and when you get it home it has about 470 GB.
Anyway I am very happy with what I have decided to buy.
Should work really well with the new video card/s i get soon.

Seasonic S12 and M12 are same guts as the Corsair x20HX series PSU's.
The VX series PSU's are built just as tough but not modular.
Either of those PSU's are built like tanks.
