I was reading this article, http://www.xp-erience.org/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=139, where it says that XP uses 20% of bandwidth. And unable to tweak in the Home edition.
Another reason not to "upgrade".

zdtv covered this, and it's not actually what it sounds like. the os sets aside 20% for qos networking purposes, it doesn't actually zap 20% of bandwidth at all times. catch the full article here (http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/windowstips/story/0,24330,3365585,00.html)
I just uninstall QoS during install...no problem
