This game gives me goosebumps!
It's kinda like Laura Crofts worst nightmare...I think it's built on the same engine as Tomb Raider.
I am now looking for the Monastary key, so I can get to the next level without cheating (too much).
Has any of you played it, and if you did, how do you like it?
And what are the donkeys for? target practice? a couple of times I got frustrated and capped a few donkeys.
I have only been playing two days, and I think I'm about half way thru it already.
What do you all think of the game...and does it give you chills also?
Doc
I have the game,But have'nt played it in a while(did'nt finish it)
I was just thinking the other night to reload on my pc.
I really liked the game and if you play at night w/no lights on and the sound up it makes me jump

My computer room is dimly lit anyway, so those howlers really get to me when they sneak up on me.
{begin rant}
I'm beginning to think that the game is lame..too much loading, and if you go there by mistake, you have to wait for the next thing to load, then turn around, and wait for the load again, and looking for each key is way too frustrating....I like to just go out, kia everything in sight, and move on, not play detective, which is why I never finished tomb raider2 or was it 3?
Too many things to look for can make a game frustrating and NOT entertaining.
Maybe some people like to have to look around for junk to keep from finishing the game too soon, but I feel that if I get thru the game within a few days, so what, and if it is entertaining enough, I will play it again and again...like I do with Unreal gold. I beat the game, but I still have fun with it{end rant}
I still like UT best, I have half life,Q3a,Q2, but my fav is gotta be big backyard...I guess I'm just a pure fragger at heart:cool:
I've seen it, and it gave me chills.
Clive Barker is the master or horror. Wes Craven ain't got NOTHING on him!
I've played the demo--gave me chills too! I'll have to pick up the full version in a bargain bin sometime soon. I was really creeped out when casting that 'scry' spell in the rooms where there were 'hidden things' and portrait and mirror effects.
yea I was'nt to keen on all the loading of the the game, but it is scary!! and the graphics and the story is pretty good.

Well, after looking at a walkthru on the net..I think I'm warming back to it....but when I get frustrated, I fire up UT and take out my agressions on the "fraggies"....mostly in practice mode.
The graffics are quite good, but either my drivers aren't up to snuff, or the patch I d'l'ed didn't take, 'cause I keep getting gpf's every now and then...and it always happens when I haven't saved in a while.
I just finished the monastary past, and am back to the present, and Jerimiah even spoke to Lizbeth...some of the cut scenes are realy good.
I'm getting addicted to it, and just when I can't get enough, I will have beat the game, but it looks like I will enjoy playing again like quake2 and duke3d.
If I didn't have to load all kinds of dos drivers for it I would still be playing Duke every now and then.
And So the story goes on....
