clockgen replacement?

Since clockgen has been "going to be back soon" I've been waiting. But it seems their definition of soon is a little different than mine. What alternates are available to replace clockgen, i.e. change clocks while in OS (in my case XP)? I use this kinda capability to ball park things before I fine tune things in the bios.
