just got a refurbushed coolit eliminator works great !

just wondering if anyone has tried bigger tec's on one??

ya thats right just cant leave good enough alone

Whats works great? How are your results.
Bigger tec's wont help as the thing can barely dissipate it's heat load as it is.

the unit works great
right now the temps are 15*c idle and around 38*~40* c load

got up this morning and idle was 15*c right after install it was 17*c
breen folding since then gotta win that Q6600 !

I'll be crazy when the cooler can't take the heat of the bigger pelt and it frys your processor...

How can you consider that works great?
Those loads are worse then normal water.

Yeah, maybe the idle is fine but your temps on load are horrible and if you fold then load is what matters...

reinstalled my a/c duct .. wanted to get a baseline stock first

put it back on an hour or so ago and right now folding it's28*c~30*c

for 95 bucks it's great

Yes, that's the merit of HSF cooled pelts. They perform on par or worse than water (in the case of quads) but they're cheaper and a lot simpler.
