EVGA Step-Up Question...

I was under the impression that when you performed a step-up it went by the suggested retail price of your card, not the purchase price. I went to look at what it would cost to maybe step-up to a GX2 or something.. hell possibly even a GTX280.. and it only credits how much you paid. Am I mis-reading this or is there a way to be credited for the MSRP? I would love a $379.99 credit on my GTS to grab a GX2 for ~$200 or GTX 280 for ~$300!

You read it fine. The only credit toward step-up is your paid price.

Ya I must've misread other posts from people in the past and gotten the wrong idea. I figured I'd check to see if there was some loophole people knew and I had been reading the posts correctly... ohh well. I have a while anyways before it runs out and even longer if I wanna go for a GX2 since they offer a 120-day step-up program for that!
