Hey, I got a SilverStone PSU 'Zeuss' (850 Watts) and it only has one 8 pin that is used to power the CPU, i have 4 free PCI-e 6 Pins free, and alot of 4 pins free, just wondering whether an adaptor from 4pin or 6pin to 8 pin is available, or should i just got with the gtx 260, is there much of a perfomance difference?. Thanks!

Heya try this http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=34_186&zenid=a664b6a24f75c9595e38c29152e4fe16
I have also seen a Y converter for 2 6pin into 1 8pin. I dunno much about the subject but if you do some research please let us know what you find out :D
I also seen a method to "converting" into 8 pin... homemade out of a 6 pin. Google a little you may find it.

Also, on your second question... i would pick up an 4870 instead provided the rumuors are true. Its supposed to sit between the 260 and 280, and for $299 who can say no to that.
Edit: seems they are all true http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3341&p=12 Time to go ATI :D
Finally some good competition, we the consumers benefit :D You can buy a 280gt or 2 4870 in CF and still keep some money in your pocket lol.
