Router problems..

I have Verizon FiOS... the Router is the Modem, all in one. Our internet has been going crazy lately. for example:

Any new connection trying to be made does not work. But if i am playing something like WoW or youtube videos, that still works fine, its just going to a new website.

another problem, sometimes it just.. doesn't work..

Right now the router/modem is in a closet inside a box inside a wall. I am thinking it is overheating or something, any ideas?

Definitely give it some air. Have you let it power down and re sync?

yeah thats what i do whenever this happens. How do you thiunk i should give it air? because we cant really have it other places, I iwll take a picture tomorrow.
