IF we could get a Deal on 8800GT cards Today, for a limited time.
Who has the money to order one right now / or real soon?
I am looking for a Head Count here. Nothing more.
I am still working with the Admins of OCF & prefer not to be banned.
That is what is taking so long.

I don't want to see you put yourself in an awkward position WII, but if you are able to do something, it would be greatly appreciated by many I'm sure. Depending on details, I may be in on something.
Probably depends on how good the deal is and what company it is with.

1 here. Pricing of the 8800 GTis going to be a moving target anyway with the announcement of the 9800 GTX+ at $200. The price of the 8800 GT and GTS is likely to fall pretty quickly.

this deal would have to be better then what newegg has. round a 120.00 for a EVGA after rebate for me to get one.

I have been on & off the phone all day to different companies.
I have spoken with reps at "some major outlets" with no success. :(
Pixie put me onto something, but I haven't been able to move forward on our non profit status. (RL keeps me busy too)
I know we (the Team) have a few other people trying various ventures too.
So all hope is not lost, but for right now.
Find the best deal you can & go for it.
I have heard all the song & dance routines I can stomach today.
EDIT:
How the He ll can a guy ask how many we would like to buy... (I said 12-15)
and then say no, I'm sorry, that is low as we can go????

On a positive note the prices of the 8800GT's are so low....A great gaming card.... and for folding...Its just lights out.
When the lower versions of the 200 series come out prices will drop even more.
This is a stellar time to be folding!:beer:
