The Asus board finally died for one of my loaner box's.

Have dibs on a DFI Ultra D socket 939 board and want to put the 4800+ processor in it.

I've sold all my hot-rod PC-3200 and am looking for good clocking PC-3200 that does not cost an arm and a leg.

Directron has a 2gig Patriot dual channel kit.

Any idea's on how this stuff is ???

Patriot used to be good and one of the best in fact. However, I've heard bad things about it, including an above 50% disappointment rate in a major online shop where I live. Sometimes their sticks don't live up to what's claimed. I don't wish them ill, but I would be a bit afraid to buy anything from them. Instead, I'd stick with OCZ or Corsair within the same price division. I'm currently satisfied with my GEIL's, although contemplating replacement with A-DATA Vitesta. Hint: A-DATA Vitesta is not more expensive from Patriot (some models are cheaper than corresponding Patriots) while it has much better press. But I don't know that much about RAM on the technical side.

Yeah I really have not used much of their ram...And it has been just the cheap OEM type sticks.

I was hoping they would be decent clocking because Directron is right in my back yard.
