Hi Guys,

When i first bought my 3850 i didnt have this problem, but ever since overclocking my rig, the problem remains (even when going back to stock).

Whilst playing games, frame rate is fine according to fraps etc but every now and then there is a big jitter and the game stops for about half a second and continues again.

Also, when playing games where you pan from side to side, you can see a very annoying obvious jitter.

Where could the problem be? Have i broken my card, or is it becauses my x38 isnt keeping a steading 100mhz pcix lock?

Cheers for any help!

It seems more of a driver issue rather than a hardware issue. How often does this happen? Do you see any patterns?

Hi Super Nade! Thanks for youre reply!

Well, its happened with 8.4, 8.5 and 8.6 drivers...so unfortunatley i dont think its driver related:(

I see the problem mainly when i play games with high fill rate (like RTS and Tactical games) when panning is involved. For instance, i can run 3dmark fine, my score is fine, i can play cod4 fine (the occationaly jitter) but as soon as a play a game that involves panning i get jitter.

Its not performance related because i get high framerates, just seems to be a refresh rate problem or a fill rate problem or something...

The issue is just completely random, i can start a game fine, and then it will get worse and worse and sometimes i even get a BSOD:(
