cant extend C drive in vista HELP!

just did a new format after my laptop got a virus
i was a bit stupid and thought 15gb would be enough..nope! after install/drivers im at 1.4gb free and i need 3gb more for sp1 Durrr
its supposed to be easy but the C: extend disk is greyed out:

This CAN 'possibly' dump ALL your data (however the same can be true of ANY partition expanding)
Download the ISO for parted magic here (http://partedmagic.com/wiki/PartedMagic.php?n=PartedMagic.Downloads) (This is a linux based LiveCD - it boot the OS from teh CD and lets you use it; this one is specific for working with partitions)
Burn to a CD and boot from it.
Use the built in partition editor to resize the partition, it might take a while.
If you need help using it, or anything else related to it post in the AltOS section and we can help you there. (BTW there are other options but I think this would work best)
