What I currently have is a Tagan 500W-U33 (2-Force II, 1st rev.). I've recently heard some bad things about the first revision, which was supposedly replaced by the "Right series", as the second revision is marketed. I have the option to replace this PSU with a 520W Corsair within the same price (I could always of course pay a little buck more for 600W or higher). As far as I know, their Corsairs are VX for 450W and perhaps HX for 520W, although I'm not entirely sure. The Corsair has removable cables, while the Tagan does not. I've already noticed something akin to a "double start" with my new computer. Sometimes it takes a while longer to start up and it looks like the first attempt is frustrated and only the second one succeeds. So, do I want to take a Corsair instead of this Tagan?

I would go with the corsair 520, I love mine.
I have a tagan 480-u22 on RMA currently. I really like the PSU and never had a any probs until the day it literally blew up, sparks smoke and all. That didn't really bother me it was almost 3 yrs old but there support sucks. I sent an RMA request on the 6th of may and still don't have my PSU back yet. I had to contact them multiple times before I got any response about my RMA request, the a month later was finally sent a RMA number and another month later still no psu. So their CS is enough to keep me from buying from them ever again.

Thankfully, my vendor promised to replace parts for me, rather than the manufacturer RMA. Let's just hope he won't complain about the wrapping. Stuff came in plastic bags that won't be glued back together. ;)
