Hybernation and RAID problem

I have my server set to hybernate after 10 minutes as i feel standby may stil cause high power bills with it not being total power off. When i leave my system to hybernate for a while i got to wake it by WOL but it just sticks on the detecting array's screen for my RAID and doesnt actually detect and drives unless i hit the reset or pwr button.

Is there anyway i can prevent this and actually get it to pick up the drives.

It is interesting you mentioned this subject. I was thinking about doing this with my server but was curious would I have the same problem. I look forward to the ideas people can help you with on this.

I don't really understand what the problem is though. Surely it should detect RAID before it even begins to load any files from the O/S. I have tweaked some settings last night to see if it would make any difference just changed boot order etc. So i shall provide you with my results once i get home.

EDIT: I'm in a bit of a debate whether to return the drives and just get one 1TB drive.

What do you reckon? Unless of course the issue can be resolved and i will stick with the 2 x 500GB.
